OG1 Athletes, LLC (“OG1,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the OG1 College Visit Questionnaire application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account & Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number.
- Athletic Profile: Football position and athlete status (high school recruit or transfer portal).
- Survey Responses: Importance ratings for 20 evaluation factors and school grades you assign to individual programs.
- Communications Preferences: Whether you consent to receive SMS messages.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Service.
- Device Data: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Calculate and deliver your personalized OG1 College Visit Questionnaire results.
- Send your results via email and, with your opt-in consent, via SMS.
- Store your priorities and school grades so you can return and evaluate additional programs.
- Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics about how athletes evaluate college programs.
- Improve, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Aggregated Data: We may share aggregated, anonymized data with college programs, athletic organizations, and advisors to help them understand athlete priorities. This data cannot identify you individually.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. SMS Communications
If you opt in to receive SMS messages, we will send you your quiz results and a link to view them online. We may also send occasional service updates.
- Message frequency varies. Typically 1–3 messages per quiz submission.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out of future SMS messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
By opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of using the Service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Survey responses and scores are retained to enable the returning-user experience and historical comparisons. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Opt-Out of SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS message or contact us directly.

- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. An age verification gate is presented before access to the quiz. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. 10. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party providers:
- Supabase: Database hosting and storage.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery.
- Twilio: SMS message delivery.
- Vercel: Application hosting.
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data. We encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
